I heard the Lord saying;
Peace. I AM in your midst. Set aside time to spend in my presence. In this place of rest and worship I will meet with you. I will give you all you have need of in my presence. All areas of your life are mine. You are mine. Come to me and hear what I have to say to you in the midst of worship and praise. This time has been set apart for you to spend time in my presence. Take advantage of the time I have given you to hear my voice, to know my plans, to hear my words of love over you. I have every answer you need. I want to pour out my presence upon you, my peace, restoration, and refreshing. Draw away with me. Focus on me. Just as Peter walked on the water I can cause you to rise above all the circumstances that surround you. If you will just focus on me and my presence, not the problems that you face, I will give you peace. When Peter saw me (Jesus) walking on the water he got out of the boat and walked on water toward me. Peter began to sink as he took his eyes off of me. Keep your eyes and thoughts upon me. The author and perfecter of your faith. I will cause you to walk on water above the circumstances of each day. Choose to focus on me! It is a choice. You must make the choice. No one else can do it for you. Choose me this day.
Where are your thoughts? Are you focusing on the negative, the problems, and the world around you? Do you feel like you are sinking? If so re-focus. Focus your thoughts on Jesus. Spend time with Him. He can give you peace in the midst of all of you are facing!
Matthew 14:22-33 (Peter Walks on Water)
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
Joshua 24:15 (Choose Who You Will Serve)
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
Philippians 4:7 (Peace)
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2 (Keep your eyes on Jesus)
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
